No, once you log-off and back on the system refresh so everything will be back to normal, but you can just do steps and get it back in seconds!.
I have tested something else, you will also have a longer time afk before the system starts to jack you out, I was afk for 2hurs last night so the time is ether not on anymore or you just got an insane timer before it log you off.

To get your hot-bar to show so you can combat, just click on a skill you can see on your hot-bar, then the LA taps will be under the hot-bar. You can also use the mail system from anywhere. To teleport(TP) to any location "HL", just click on the Phone-tap, select location, hit TP "to store location name, you will not TP by clicking TP" then just hit "jack into the Matrix" and off you go.
