Well, its just a bug. I'm not sure if this is exploitable by any way. But at current state, any gate that is protected by force field will not allow you to shoot through even after the force field is down. However despite this fact, the Bane NPCs could shoot through the invisible wall with no trouble. Hope they gonna fix this soon.
