This appears to now be fully nerfed and fixed. Was working this with a low level alt of a guild mate and he was only getting 109xp/kill. Also overhead targetting appears not to work anymore either, so you're forced to send your pet out in front of yourself, with a LOS of about 40 degrees above/below.
