Here's a trick I found while helping out a new player with a Trial Account. Under normal circumstances you cannot trade with a Trial Member. That includes Mailing them in-game. I was helping this guy out, and wanted to give him some gold for lvl 1 and 3 equipment, only to find that I couldn't open a trade window.

However, if you want to, you can party with the person, then use the /split command to give them money.

I used "/split 100000", and since only me and him were in party, it gave him 5 gold. =) /cheer

Though the usefulness of this is limited, it can be helpful, and it can certainly help a new player decide to keep playing.
