AoC Exploit: Equip any Item, any Level, in any Slot
Author: Unknown
1.To install your "target item" in the target slot you will need 2 items which you can legally equipt in there.
2. Install the 1st legal item. Now leftclick the target item and drag it over the 2nd legal item in the inventory.
3. Once you release your left button immediatly rightclick the legal one and instead of the 2nd legal it will swap the "target item" with the one you already have equipted.
Re: HOT!! Aoc Exploit: Equip any Item, any Level, in any Slot
I got all excited when I read this.
I got even more exited when 5 minutes later I got my lvl 80 weapon equiped.
So excited that I bought lvl 80 weapons for my lowbie alts for both testing and extreme grinding.
The bad news: It's client side only. You really do not have the lvl 80 item equipped. Instead the icons have merely changed places. To reset the icons back to where they belong log out and back in. And yes, I know, Your stats screen does show the increase of armor, stam, etc... but they are just there artificially.
To confirm this I went on my lvl 15 toon and tested hitting mobs with a multiple different weapons. The lvl 80 weapon was hitting for the same low damage that you would have expected.
The icons always switch back to their correct locations after logging out and logging in.
