Go to Marhan's Grotto leave to Ice Floe run out a little bit, hold down control+alt and you should see a chest. It is guarded by a couple of imps but you should be able to make it. I have gotten an easy 30k in about 2 hours with this exploit.

This is solid run. It varies up and down, but generally a very good return for a short amount of time spent (I throw up a mending and use sprint to make the imps easier, but most if the time it's unnecessary).

You get items... but I think "they" fixed that :-(
Some days ago I got max-weapons with boni - now I only get lower items - not worth selling.
Too sad - this chestrun did it for a long time :-/
Yep, I originally agreed that this was a good run, but I ran this last night after I'd overfarmed the desert griffons and only got a few blues and no purples (only about 1.5K of items after about 15 min). It helps to mix it up some, so I might try some other places and come back later.
Should I set this thread to 'Unconfirmed' for now?

I'd say yes as this run isn't any more interesting...
I agree. It's a marginal run at best. I've dropped it from my farming cycle. I now do:
1) Griffons until the drops get bad
2) Port Sledge Chest runs until they go bad (I originally said they were nerfed, but now I take it back -- I think I just overfarmed it.)
3) Mountain Trolls until the drops get bad
