Something else that I was thinking about is snareing the commander before he reaches the miners and then cloak to lose agro and he may hold back while his minions move forward. I will try this when I get home after work to verify.
That doesn't work unfortunately, it's the first thing I tried
If you cloak and therefore deaggro whatever you're attacking loses whatever debuffs they had on them, so they're no longer snared.
I guess the only method is to attack the Forward Commander at just the right moment to get him on his own, but have the miners attacking the Elite Guards that will also aggro on you. Bear in mind also that at random intervals during combat with the Fwd Commander he spawns helpers.
I haven't once been able to loot him by using the "duplicate miners" exploit, they always end up outdamaging me. Maybe I should spawn less of them, I have to close the combat log because of all the spam lol
The miners the miner leader spawns now appear instantly, and there is an arbitrary delay before you can Converse with him again. You definitely can't spawn multiple miners now.
