Exploit:
Become a lvl 90 structural trader, (You can do this in about a day) then switch proffessions to all the other traders, then change into a combatant profession, you will now be level 90 Combat Level!
This was fixed several patches ago. This no longer works. Combat XP, Entertainer XP and Crafting XP are all separate from each other. You can NOT AFK grind an Entertainer to 90 and switch to a level 90 combat profession (or from a trader to a combat profession) or Vise versa.sorry, but this can not be confirmed.
Just out of my own curiocity killsran, when did you try this and find out it worked? Did you perhaps have a crafter that used to be a combat char and forget about that? I find it highly unlikely that simply changing your char's prof tag 4 times would cause a glitch in the system. Volrocca is correct in that the old level switching exploit was fixed awhile ago. Curious if this is something new we havn't seen before.
I personally performed it before the previous patch, I have an estimate, it works approximately 1/4 of the time, the glitch is still active, Sony forgot to fix it! And it is a very tricky glitch, YOU HAVE TO BE A STRUCTURAL TRADER TO START! then switch to ALL the other traders then a combat profession. 1/4 of the time you will be lvl 90 Cl. If not lvl 12.
Ok, verifying that this does not work, or at least didn't for me. 8m credits later, I'm back to CL90 Structures. This is how I did it:
Char was started and ground to 90 as structures some time ago
Respec'd to munitions (CL90)
Respec'd to engineer (CL90)
Respec'd to domestics (CL90)
Respec'd to smuggler (CL5)
